Last updated: 21 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our websites, contact us, book a stay or subscribe to our newsletter, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

The websites predelalux.com, predela2bansko.com and mountainviewbansko.com and the hotels Predela LUX, Predela 2 and Mountain View in Bansko are operated by one company, which is the controller of your personal data:

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the companies that run parts of our service for us. Each one processes it on our instructions:

  • Quendoo (Bulgaria): our booking engine and Club accounts. Its booking widgets also measure visits, so we can see which pages lead to bookings.
  • Automattic / WordPress.com (USA): website hosting, site statistics, spam filtering of forms, video hosting.
  • Google (Ireland / USA): Google Analytics, only with your consent, and the maps on our pages.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland: the Meta Pixel on predelalux.com, only with your consent.
  • Omnisend (Lithuania): sending our newsletter.
  • Trustindex: displays our Google reviews on the site.

If you book through Booking.com or Airbnb, that platform collects your data under its own privacy policy and passes us what we need for your stay. We also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it, for example the guest register.

4. Transfers outside the EU

Automattic, Google and Meta may process data in the USA. They are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found gives an adequate level of protection. Where it does not apply, the transfer is covered by the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

  • Booking and invoicing records: 10 years, as required by Bulgarian accounting law.
  • Guest register: for the period required by Bulgarian tourism law.
  • Requests that don't lead to a booking: 12 months.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we never email you by mistake.
  • Club account: until you close it, or 3 years after your last stay.
  • Statistics data: 14 months.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that's wrong;
  • delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop or limit using it, or object to how we use it;
  • send it to you or another company in a machine-readable format.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or the cookie settings button below. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before.

Email office@lmbulgaria.com; we reply within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592, www.cpdp.bg, or to the data protection authority in your own EU country.
